I think they're both beautiful watches. It's all subjective. I recently purchased the "Tiffany Blue" Citizen, and I've had the dark green automatic PRX for a couple if years. The bracelet on the PRX is of higher quality. The bracelet on the citizen just feels thin and cheap unfortunately. Aesthetically i like it though. I also love the polished finish of the Citizen. There is a price point difference in these watches, and in hand you can tell. Both beautiful watches on wrist. I do not regret buying the Citizen, you're getting a lot for a small amount of money.

I need y'all's job. Here are cheap watches. $600+ well sure cheap compared to a Rolex. And the other 3% of watches. How about quality watches it is the other 97% of watches out there. Like less than the Seiko 5. Which is on the high end for the majority of people.

The powermatic 80 is indeed a crap piece of movement, but the lack of the fine tunning lever on the balance is not such a big deal, its called free sprung balance, its measured with a laser in factory and as long as the watch is lubricated is should work just fine. The actual adjustment is made by tightening the balance to the movement itself

Find a high end luxury watch, and you find they copied someone else. So your points are moot

Am a Aragon fanboy. They have 45mm designs, not just 50mm. Their use of tritium markers/hands is the sweet spot of value watches. A very broad catalog.

the Casio AE1200 is a great watch, I have two, one black and one silver and I wore them to death for a few years and both watches went through everyday wear and tear and still look good.

Ironically that’s what they do when you get them serviced they pretty much replace the entire movement at least that’s what was done to mine twice before I sold it I got the watch back and on it’s service history it said the movement was replaced not just the plastic part, but they said the only issue of the watch was the plastic part so why replace the entire movement I don’t know

My 2 yo F91 accidentally went through a wash/dry laundry cycle in January. Absolutely no effect.

I have a few homage watches and there’s no embarrassment when someone asks about the watch, I simply just love homage watches because some come with unique dial options that the watch its paying homage to doesnt, for example the watch I have now is a custom seiko which has a dial in that no Rolex has which is a dial of the darkest possible black with gold accents, yes Rolex has a black dial but not ultra dark especially in a Matte finish, and the dial also has my own name on it instead of a brand name

Next improvement must be titanium case and chronograph

I think I probably had two dozen watches at one point but gave many away when I got my grail watch. Now I’ve pared my collection down to 5. I really only wear two regularly. I have a Swatch Irony that I love and wear occasionally; so two are basically sitting on the sidelines. Now I have my eye on a new watch I just discovered ( a Scurfa ). Damn! There’s always another one!!! Looks as if I’ll be giving two more watches away as I don’t wear them and I like for them to be used . It makes it almost believable for me to keep telling my significant other that my collection is not growing. BTW love the Omega!

I love Mr. Jones watch designs but their lugs are sooo weird. Thats the only thing I don't really like about them.

I have the REEF model, which has the screwback case without the ring. It is their attempt at getting into the North American watch Marc with the North American type watch. It’s actually a beautiful watch with the sapphire at the 12 o’clock position on the bezel and the bezel has 120 clicks.

Okay, so look at a current scenario. Take the Omega X Swatch MoonSwatch, and put it up against the Pagani Designs PD-1701 series or the Alpha Chronograph (brought them up as you did have them and mention them in your video). There's a heck of a large differance between these peices and the original - I mean miles big. As far as I'm concerned after this Omega-Swatch "colab", I feel Swatch needs a darn good swatting (with a fly swatter, not the swat team) for really ripping people off (though from a business sense, it proving to be quite profitable....For how long though, hard to say). In their past I might not have minded adding a swatch to my collection, but no way will I ever consider a Swatch of any kind these days. I feel sorry for anyone that has been or will be suckered into the purchase of a Moonswatch. Now the Pagani Designs def is not a 1-1 clone of the original Speedmaster - quartz movement, hour reading as opposed to an hour counter for the crono, option to have a day display or not, and defiantly detailed out much differently. It's a darn good homage in my book - certainly is no outright clone (Omega X Swatch Moonswatch is closer to being a clone). I'm glad they aren't trying to pretend to be Omega, yet Pagani Designs seem to be doing everything they can to deliver a quality watch (far more so then Swatch). The Alpha, yea, I more see your point because it's a more direct "clone" of the original Speedmaster/Moonwatch, esp with it's mechanical movement. But again there are many details are different. Anyways, I don't have any problems with homages no matter how close they can be to looking like an outright clone - as long as they aren't messing about with history nor are they trying to pretend to be the real thing. I do have problem when brands attempt to homage more pedestrian brands though - like you, just wait a little bit if you want a Casio Dive watch (the MDV). Or a Seiko Turtle... Etc etc. There shouldn't be any homages to these as they are easily acquirable (so why not own a piece of real history).

That Straton watch is an absolute banger! It's exactly the type of design you can only get from a microbrand - big, bold, overblown, brilliant colors. I love it, but I had a long struggle over which color variant I should take. In the end I decided on the blue-orange version. Usually I don't spend that much money on a watch but this was love at first sight. Thanks for the review and the coupon. ;-) BTW: I own the mustard F-91W and it is definitely an attention grabber at a beach party.^^

I got a Citizen C7 instead of a tsuyosa. It’s the anti-hypebeast option and costs half as much when available.

Just picked up Bulova's reissue of the Super Seville in the gold w/ white dial and that's defiantly my summer watch whenever i go out now, i love it. Defiantly need to grab a Tsuyosa at some point XD

As an owner of the rose gold, red dial Citizen Tsuyosa - I can report it does not disappoint. In fact, it over delivers on most reasonable expectations. Great fit/finish, top notch bracelet, superb tone to the metal, and that red dial makes it very versatile. So many options in this line make it, IMO, the budget Aqua Terra alternative - and I say that as an Omega Acolyte.
